Best of British – TVR

Best of British – TVR (Second Edition)

Perhaps the most iconoclastic of British sportscar makers and certainly the one with the most turbulent history, TVR’s products are loved and revered by their dedicated owners.

Their up and down history began in the post-war motorsport boom which saw so many small manufacturers flourish or wither on the vine. TVR made a name for themselves with the Griffiths, which also caused the first collapse of the company.

Rescued and revitalised by the Lilleys, TVR went on to enjoy success with the Vixen and M-Series but sales dropped off with the Tasmin, once again leading to financial trouble and a change of ownership.

This change of ownership wasn’t to be the last and today the company still faces an uncertain future.

What is certain is the legacy of great cars the Blackpool factory turned out – Griffiths, Grantura, Vixen, Cerbera, Chimaeara and Tuscan are all featured in this updated DVD.

The Best of British Series is produced independently but made with the full co-operation of the subject manufacturers. It is not officially licensed or endorsed by them.
