There are many fans of Brian Redman. Along with Vic Elford and Derek Bell he seems to embody the spirit of sportscar racing as it was for British drivers at the cutting edge in the ’70s and ’80s.

These six years saw him win the 1970 Targa Florio with a Porsche 908 and the Spa-Francorchamps 1000km race 4 times (1968-1970, 1972) – so there’s plenty of meat on the bone, so to speak.
